Hi
My "Microsoft Store" -"Apps and games" - "MSIX or PWA app" submission (MSIX) has been stuck at the Certification step for 1+ week.
The application has been checked with the "Windows App Cert Kit" prior to uploading.

    Hi ,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

pls do check this about possible errors

Typically, the certification process is completed within a few hours, but in some cases, it may take up to three business days. If it has been longer than that, there might be specific reasons.

During the Certification Phase there are some tests conducted such as...

Security tests: Your app’s packages are checked for viruses and malware. If your app fails this test, verify your development system using the latest antivirus software and rebuild your app’s package on a clean system.

Technical compliance tests: These are performed by the Windows App Certification Kit. Always test your app with this kit before submitting it to the Store.

Content compliance: The time for this test varies based on your app’s complexity, visual content, and recent submissions. Provide any relevant information in the Notes for certification page.

After certification, you will receive a report indicating whether your app passed or failed. If it did not pass, the report will specify which test or policy was not met. Hence you have to fix any issues, and you can create a new submission to restart the certification process.

Once it is successful you can consider it as ready for publication process.

Also ensure that your signing certificate is valid and not expired. Time-stamping your app when signing can help it continue deploying even after the certificate expires.

If none of them worked, consider reaching out to Microsoft Store support for personalized assistance.

Please 'Upvote'(Thumbs-up) and 'Accept' as an answer if the reply was helpful. This will benefit other community members who face the same issue.
