Hi @ Danyelle , In addition to the two settings you mentioned, you can also check the following two places: Verify draft items are crawled, see Draft items are not crawled in SharePoint . Verify the site's search visibility options at the following location: <site_name>/_layouts/srchvis.aspx Make sure that the Allow this site to appear in Search results option is selected. My Sharepoint online site is not yielding search results. I have checked the following:

Allow this site to appear in Search results is set to Yes.
Allow items from this document library to appear in search results? is set to Yes.

It's intermittent - sometimes one person can access a site page via search results, then the same person tries the same search later the same day and the search results doesn't list it.

Additional info:

This site has been up and running smoothly for several months, then all of a sudden the search feature started acting up on Monday of this week.

Hi @Haoyan Xue_MSFT ,

I followed your suggestion and changed my settings to Any user who can ready items can see drafts. That did not resolve the search issue. We don't have any items in the draft state - all pages have been published. I've always had the Allow this site to appear in Search results option selected.

I have uncovered a few more details to the issue:

Users can type in a keyword in the search bar and before pressing enter, it will recommend 1 or 2 site pages, but if they press Enter, it says "We couldn't find any results on this site for..."Even if the user types in the exact title of the site page.

We have assigned 4 digit numbers to all of our site page titles in order to make it easier to search for those that can recall a number sequence rather than a title and the search returns with 0 results. We have been using the number assignment for months and have not had any issue until now.

We have multiple sharepoint sites for multiple departments across the business and all of them are having the same issue with the search bar.

Sorry for the late reply, I just got back from vacation You have a strange situation and it's hard to continue troubleshooting through the forums to solve your problem. You can check the relevant Log to find the cause, and due to my low access, I suggest you can create a new service request in M365 admin center as an admin, the engineers there have more authority than I do and more professional will help you.
