we have developed as teams bot custom app and published to market place. It is working fine with teams standard channel and chats. But we are not able to add our app in shared channels. As per the information in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/platform/concepts/build-and-test/shared-channels#enable-your-app-for-shared-channels, we have included "supportedChannelTypes" in manifest as

"supportedChannelTypes":

[

"sharedChannels",

"privateChannels"

]

and uploaded my custom app to org. But still, we are unable to add our app on shared channel. I have cleared the cache from "%appdata%\Microsoft\Teams" folder and restart teams app.

Am I missing something? Is it possible to do what I need at all?

    Hi @Thasni Masood

    Teams tag is mainly focused on the general issue of Microsoft Teams troubleshooting. Since your question is related to Teams Development, which is not in our support scope. The following suggestion is for your reference

    Is the custom app available on the browser client?

    Please try clearing all site data and cookies from your browser to see if the custom app appears in the Teams browser client.
