Hello everyone,

I'm seeking guidance on how to visualise servers in Intune and apply security policies through it. Here are the steps I've followed thus far: I've onboarded the server to Defender for Endpoint, which has been successful, and I've enabled "Allow Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to enforce Endpoint Security Configurations" within Intune. The server operates independently and isn't associated with any domain. When visiting the Defender portal and accessing device management, MDE indicates that I need to verify if I've fulfilled all prerequisites.

I dont think I have missed any steps. Any ideas?

@Aran Billen, Thanks for posting in Q&A. Please check if the windows server is with support version and if the required KB is already installed which mentioned in the following link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/protect/mde-security-integration#supported-platforms

Check if the device exists in Microsoft Entra and we can assign security policy to the device group.

Hope the above information can help.
