Why is Windows deciding what IS and ISN'T a threat when i've deemed a program as SAFE?

  1. installed u torrent (after getting around the initial "are you sure you're smart enough to install this program and not download virus's to your computer?" questions. Yes, even if it allowed a threat into my computer, I want this program. Thanks for trying to tell me what I can and cannot install initially.
  2. Utorrent marked as a safe folder and safe application via windows defender / anti-virus. At this point, anything involving installation and use of the program should be marked as safe and operation of the program should be normal. BUT WAIT, Don't forget this is Windows and they know what's best for you!
  3. Windows blocks program, even though it's marked as safe.. probably once every hour. More work for me, the user, to tell Windows.. AGAIN, that the program is SAFE (it's already ON THE SAFE LIST), so it operates normally.
  4. Go to bed, wake up, program is uninstalled. HOORAY, WINDOWS HAS PROTECTED ME FROM A THREAT THAT WAS ALREADY MARKED AS SAFE, AND DECIDED TO UNINSTALL THE PROGRAM COMPLETELY WHILE I WAS AWAY!! WHAT A HERO!!!
  5. REINSTALL program, rinse, repeat

i'm not doing this anymore. Either this is getting fixed through the forum here, or i'm moving to apple. I'm sick of being told what I can, and cannot download by Windows. I already told it the program was safe, that should be the end of it. OH! Let's not forget, DEFENDER has now classified bittorrent programs as the spooooooky sounding "Vigua.A" and released no information on it!! WHAT A HERO!!! VIGUA A = different name than UTORRENT OR BITTORRENT, so, IT REMOVES THE PROGRAM YOU HAVE MARKED AS SAFE!! Since VIGUA A doesn't actually exist (other than an alternate name for torrenting programs) you can't mark it as safe.

Congratulations Microsoft, you've invented a fake virus to stop users from running torrent programs which aren't illegal in the first place. Fix it, or I'll just keep spreading this to shitty news outlets like Yahoo until it becomes a story.
