    • Just saved me a boat load of work. Thank you!
    • Great to hear Mobieus, was my pleasure. More to come soon!
    • It doesnt work for me .. I tried adding SCOM 2007 R2 to SCOM 2012 Agent but it is not working. The only way i am able to make agent report to SCOm 2007 R2 is by going into the control panel applet and adding it manullay.

When I run the script it adds the entry in control panel but the agent never reports to the Managemnet group.

i tried restarting the services , restarting server. But it doesn't come under pending management on SCOM 2007 r2

      Anything i can check
    • Hi Kitaab, I think this might be a specific case to investigate. You know where to reach me by email.
The script is meant to add mgmt grp entries of SCOM 2012 to existing SCOM 2012 agents. However in fact it doesnt do much else besides adding some registry keys through the official way. So it should not matter to the agent what SCOM mgmt group version it is talking to. Perhaps it is related to the CU version of your SCOM 2007 R2 mgmt group? I think it should be CU4 or CU5 at a minimum.
