    • I have no improvement suggestion. Just want do ask what's the approximately size for all downloads of pptx and videos in high quality?
    • Avg file size for Low quality is 150Mb and Avg file size for High quality is 400Mb.
Slides can be anything between 2Mb - 20Mb.
    • Yes that I've alreadey seen. Thank you. And what's the expected final payload?
    • Not all videos has been uploaded by Microsoft yet. So far total payload it approx 60GB.
    • Thank you for response.

    • One idea - why not to use parallel downloads? It can make download times way shorter.
    • Great question, I'll have a look at that.
      Thanks,

To be on the save side with folder names you can us a regex and replace all invalid chars

      $folder = $code + " - " +  [RegEx]::Replace($_.title.Replace(":", "-").Replace("/", "-"), "[{0}]" -f ([RegEx]::Escape([String][System.IO.Path]::GetInvalidFileNameChars())), '')

Had some issues at SPC12 when suddenly some fancy chars appeared in the session names ;)
Not an issue right now though.
    • Thanks Matthias
Will have a look at it.

  • Speaker Information

    • Can one of the files that are downloaded be a spreadsheet that contains the list of speakers for each session? It would be great if the spreadsheet contained the following fields for each person that spoke in a session
      [Harder Fields]
( Speaker Name, Speaker Company, Speaker Email, Speaker Twitter Account, Session Twitter hashtag )
      [Easy Fields]
( Session Name, Track, Session Type, Tags, Level, Media Available)

I know the easy fields can be found using PowerShell but the individual speaker and session twitter hashtags are harder to get.

      Thanks!
      Joe
    • Hi Joe
      Great feedback.
It's not top priority, but diffently a nice request, that I will look further into.
      /Peter
    • For SPC12, I created such a browsable director but just writing out some HTML.

Created a index.html in the root with a simple table showing the details and then an index.html in each session folder showing the rest with links to the ppt and the video.
simplest case it could be the saved ch9 page.

      Just a suggestion :)
      Thanks for the script.
  • URL Error

    • Dear Peter,

It seems the 2 url for find the list of videos and slides are not existing anymore.
      Is it correct ?

      regards
      Julien
    • Yes and No, you get an error, since no sessions from TechEd Europe has been published yet, because the conference does not start until tomorrow. The URLs should work finder later this week, when Microsoft starts to publish the first sessions.
