  • Getting Access Denied - What permissions are required on the remote computer?
    1 Posts | Last post November 16, 2017
    • I love the tool. Thank you for creating it and sharing with all of us. However, I am trying to access several of the tools and I am getting access denied. I am logged in as the domain admin account. If I knew what permissions will be required. I can push those changes out via GPO to all of my workstations.

      Thank you,
  • This thing is awsome, thanks!!

    • Im not good with powershell and I found your tool which has been great but Im having an issue whenever I try to use the uninstall button I get the error below. I cant seem to figure out why, and every other part works perfect.

    • Hi,

      Try to add the following to the code before the line it has a problem with:
      $info = Get-WmiObject win32_process -ComputerName $ComputerName

      So that part will look like:
      $cmsAppUninstall_Click={
      $info = Get-WmiObject win32_process -ComputerName $ComputerName
      ForEach ($Sel in $lvMain.SelectedItems){(Get-WmiObject win32_Product -ComputerName $ComputerName | ?{$_.Name -eq $Sel.Text}).Uninstall()}
      Remove-SelectedItems

    • Hi Rich
      Thanks you very much for writing such a powerful tool. I have been using this for my work everyday but I was just wondering if you can add some more functionality to this. Can u add to collect monitor info, logged on user and one more things that would be great if you can add a functionality to get command line of remote computer. One more things to add is the ping status. I hope I am not asking too much but I know it is possible to incorporate that easily for you. Please have a look and let us know. I am sure many of us would love to get the added functionality.

    • Are you able to add last logged in user to the view? Also is there a possibility of being able to search instead of by partial PC name, search by username and have it return what computer they are logged into? The tool is very helpful thanks.

  • tip if parts of your scripts require admin rights
    1 Posts | Last post September 22, 2014
    • a. launch power gui with admin rights (shift right click > run as with your admin account)
      b. launch AWSA or any ps script

      This is helpful if your account logged in on the pc doesnt have admin rights to the other pc but your admin account does.
