    • Every combination of username/domain I tried fails with (401) Unauthorized.
      
      I've tried:
      User = [email address]
      Domain = "azuread"
      
      User = [email before @ sign]
      Domain = [domain from email]
      
      For added difficulty, we use MFA, so I have used my personal password as well as an App password to the same effect. 
      
      I am full admin.

      No it won't. This script is ready for SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016
