MDT Software Center

In this post I will show you a tool I created in Powershell, called MDT Software Center that allows you to install software, languages packs, upgrade OS... from your main Deployment Share like the Software Center from SCCM. In SCCM, as you may know, there is a great functionality

    • If a "normal" Domain user would install an application, Litetouch needs admin privileges to Run. Is there another option?

    • Hi Damien,
      As other mentioned exe files are removed by antivirus. I am reluctant to make exceptions to the antivirus scan.
      The files are removed immediately so I can't even test it. Can you provide .ps1 file instead or compile it differently?

    • I uploaded this to virus total and 14 of their scanners are saying it's a virus as well.
    • Hello, this is a known issue.
      There is no virus, but the EXE is detected as trojan because it has been done with Winrar.

    • hi, I am getting A connection to the deployment share could not be made. connection ok. possible cause: invalid credentials while i am trying to install application.
      any idea why ?

    • hi, I have followed the steps and checked the settings again and again.
      but the MDT software center still can't display anything in applications box.
      the deployment share has been connected.
      my MDT server tool version is MDT2016

      I am using this as a post install for tech out in the field and so far when any application is installed there is a forced reboot.
      Is there a way to not have a reboot happen? 
      Can I install multiple apps if I desired?
