    • Hello.
Beautiful module, that's just not working for windows 7sp1 and win2008r2. Error:
The specified module 'NetBackupPS' was not loaded because no valid module file was found
       in any module directory.
    • Hey Steffun,

Looks like PowerShell can't find the module.
Did you download and place the module into the modules folder ?

    • 1. Thank you @Francois-Xavier Cat for this module (and all of the other knowledge you've passed along)!! Can't express how much your blog has helped develop my PS skills!

      2. For anyone still having issues with this module, I found that extracting the NetBackupPS-1.1.zip to any of the module folders (C:\Users\<username>\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\Modules, C:\Program Files\WindowsPowerShell\Modules, C:\windows\system32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\).

Then rename the "NetBackupPS-1.1" folder to "NetBackupPS", which matches the name of the .psm1. The module folder name must match the psm1's name for Import-Module to work.

Then run "Import-Module -Name NetBackupPS". That should do it.

Hope this helps! Thanks again @Francois-Xavier Cat!
    • Thanks AxshunJaxun! Appreciate the feedback! (sorry for the delay)
