The PDT GUI is a Graphical User Interface for the Powershell Deployment Toolkit. The original PDT is created and maintained by Rob Willis from Microsoft Corporation. The PDT GUI is created and maintained by German Microsoft Partner 'Elanity Network Partner GmbH' and is not an official Microsoft Product. The PDT GUI helps to create fast PDT Configuration-Files (Variable.xml) for Zero Touch System Center Deployments. PDT GUI creates and validates the configuration files for PDT, it does not alter the existing PDT in any way. An installed PDT is neccessary for a succesful PDT Deployment, download it from

News 20.07.2015: PDTGUI Version 1.101 is out now and includes some minor bugfixes! This is the latest Release.

Since Version 1.1 several enhancements and new features like file selection for variable.xml, Support for MUI Language Files, Mass Variable Editor and PDT Downloader are included. We have also improved several validations.

Warning: PDT and PDTGui are compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2012 as well as System Center 2012 R2 and System Center 2012.

I was able to run PDT on a Windows Server 2016 TP2 Hyper-V Host, however, there is no support yet for WS2016 or SC2016.
