    • I'm dipping into the GUI world myself, I've been between the Windows.Forms way which I see you have used here and the WPF Visual Studio style. Not having the greatest time with WPF there isn't too much documentation on it. Windows.Forms by far seem the easiest did you use an external tool to create the GUI?

  • Source and Destination paths not saved?
    1 Posts | Last post September 23, 2017
    • I know, this an old item, but I just stumbled over it and found it quite promising.
However, when I save options Source Path and Destination Path are not stored, when I open the script again.
Logfile Path and copy options are stored correctly.
      What could be the cause?

    • I wanted advice on XCOPY. Someone suggested I use ROBOCOPY instead, & gave me a Link, where I found this Page. So I have downloaded the *.ps1 files - text files. *.BAT I understand - but just WHAT is a .ps1 file, and WHAT do I do with it ?>>
    • Hi there,
.ps1 is a PowerShell file, you can right click and "Open with PowerShell"
This will load the windows form that you see on the screenshot.

    • Hello

Would it possible to keep the source and destination location the same every time I ran the program?

      Thanks.
    • Hi there,
You can edit the code and put your desired source and destination paths:

      Source Line 576
      $InputSource.Text=""

      Destination Line 590
      $InputTarget.Text=""

    • Is there an advanced option i can use to email the log file after the copy completes?
    • Hi there! No such an option is yet available. It is a good idea and will be implemented with the next release. Thanks.
