    • Hi Nitin,
I am getting this even on my desktop and for all the servers

Running action "Repair SCCM client" on computers...
      * Processing NEX3HHL-ASINL2...
!! Failed to connect to WMI namespace "root\CIMV2" on NEX3HHL-ASINL2. Error 70 (Permission denied)

      Thanks in Advance.
    • I am getting the same error.

** Failed to connect to root\cimv2 namespace. Can't initiate the fix remotely!

Do I need to set something to c:\windows\ccm since that is where the client resides?
      Thanks,
      Rich

    • Some Clarification

If I run this on the PC locally that is having problems this appears to work ok. But I am hoping to make it so I can run the fixes/tweaks remotely. That is when I get

!! Failed to connect to WMI namespace "root\CIMV2" on D6NMTZQ1. Error -2147217406 (Not found )

      Thanks,
      Rich
    • Hi All,
The credentials you have used to connect this tool doesnt have the privilege to run actions on target computers. Please make sure that you are using the same credentials for running the tool

      Thanks

    • Nithin, can you kindly provide some sort of guide in terms of using the tool - I am trying to deploy to some clients and after filling out the details on the client install screen what do I do next ? There does not appear to be a button to save the settings so I am basically stuck
    • Hello Jking,
This tool is not meant to deploy clients in your environment. I recommend you to follow Microsoft recommended methods for doing the same. Please find the below link.

    • Hi All,
Tool will be automatically detecting domain credentials from the computer in which you are working. If it is not connected automatically,
1.please go to "Using Integrated Authentication" tab in the top right corner.
2.Select Using Alternate credentials and provide required credentials for connecting.

Next step is to provide source machine details. You can provide source machine details in 2 ways.

      1. Provide details as a source file ( Make a note of all the machines in a txt file and browse that file from the SCCM Client tool)
      2. Load Computers from SCCM collection using Collection ID

After doing this , you can select actions from the Client Action tab based on the requirement.

      Thanks
      Nithin

Are all of your component statuses green?

      Thanks

    • Hey shouldn't you be giving credit to the person who originally created this?
      http://sccmcat.codeplex.com/

    • I too think the same. He is unable to provide a documentation that is suspicious.
    • My sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your queries. In last few years, i havent checked this blog. That is the main reason you people are not getting any response.

Klong566, I am not the creator of this tool, at the same time i dont even know who created this. I got this from one of my colleague and we have added/ edited few scripts in it ( Thats why it is still working) . I have uploaded this here only to make sure that who ever is working with SCCM should overcome issues which is causing their day to day administrative tasks. I still believe what i have done is correct.

PS: I can give credit to the person who created this tool.

      Bhat,
This is a simple tool which doesnt required any documentation. If you still want some documentation to start working on this, please let me know. I can help you.

      Thanks for Understanding

    • Hi,
Can you please give us more description for using this Tools (as a guide line, or user guide )
      thanks in advance !

    • Hi Ahamdi,

It is a simple tool. After extracting package, Run ClientActionsTool.hta (it will automatically fetch the Domain credentials you have used to connect the Server/client in which it is running). You can upload list of PC's in txt, CSV, XLS formats.
