    • Hello, thanks for all the reports.. I modified the datasource on all them and they all work except the client health statistics.. When I run that one I get:

An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset 'IE'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
Invalid object name 'vSMS_G_System_SoftwareFile'. Could not use view or function 'dbo.v_GS_SoftwareFile' because of binding errors.

      Thanks

  • Client Health Report Error
    4 Posts | Last post December 15, 2015
    • I find all the reports are running fine for me except for Client Health Statistics. On that one I'm getting the following error. "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset 'Architecture'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'Computer_System_DATA', database 'CM_N01', schema 'dbo'."

I can run the query in SRRS designer and it works fine. And if I delete the Architecture dataset (and the table) the dashboard works fine.
    • you mean,it works after you delete something from the report ?
from the above error, seems like you have no permissions to access to database CM_N01.
can you please be more specific about the issue ?
    • Hi, exactly the same for me (Sccm 2012 SP1 cu3)
If I remove "Architecture" the report run well.

TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder
      ------------------------------

      ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The SELECT permission was denied on the object 'Computer_System_DATA', database 'CM_E12', schema 'dbo'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 229)

the query runs fine as my admin account in SQL Management Studio. I used SQL Server Profiler and found the ID of the account used when running within Report Builder. It is the SQL/SSRS service account. I granted Select to that account and all is well!

    • Could you please validate from your end, thanks for your time :-

Total Clients 9072 Client Installed 8532 Active Clients 8802 Inactive Clients 15
  • Active client numbers cannot be greater than the client installed numbers, am using the same query which you gave last time, could you please re-validate the below mentioned query

    • select count(*) [Total Clients],

    • Thank you very much for the report.

Can we exclude collection ID/Name from this report with limit to logon stamp with 7 days?

i tried with below query to exclude machine list based on collection id no expected result.

      select distinct Name0
from v_r_system sys JOIN v_FullCollectionMembership FCM
      ON SYS.ResourceID = FCM.ResourceID where FCM.CollectionID <>'ID'
    • it works for me. may be you can try the resourceID not in (write query to get list of computers from specific collection )

How can we add Caption0 details to replace the existing OS details... i tried to modify but its giving me duplicate entries for all machines...
    • where you want to add caption0 instead of OS details ? To avoid duplicates, you can do group by Caption0. can you post the query so that i can help you.
