This is a sample management pack for Operations Manager 2007 R2 and System Center 2012 Operations Manager.

This management pack provides an example of a wizard to create Powershell script based monitors in the Operations Console.

Importing the management pack will allow the PowerShell script Two State Monitor type to appear under the Scripting\Generic folder in the “Create a unit monitor” wizard.

The 2015 Version (Latest):

Important Note: The specify script parameters feature works in this release. The input parameter value can now be accessed in the script by using the $Arguments variable in param($Arguments):

The remaining steps involve going through all the pages of the wizard and plugging values into the dialog boxes (similar to how a VBScript based unit monitor is configured in the Operations Console).

A sealed and unsealed version of the sample management pack  is included. Hence, the configuration can either be saved into a seperate unsealed management pack containing the custom Powershell script and referencing the sealed library management pack if the sealed version is used; or saved in the unsealed version of the library management pack together with the wizard, if the unsealed version is used.

The 2013 Version:
Important Note: The specify script parameters feature does not work in this release.
