Hi

When I sync SCCM SUP, WSUS stuck in 0% and after a while I get below error

Sync failed: UssCommunicationError: WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server > System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond ip address:443 at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream(TransportContext& ontext). Source: Microsoft.SystemsManagementServer.

SoftwareUpdatesManagement.WsusSyncAction.WSyncAction.SyncWSUS

I can browse Microsoft update catalogue. I turned off windows firewall but it is no use.

how can I troubleshoot?

    Hi, @Seyed Majid Taheri

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

You may check if your WSUS or SUP server can resolve the update.microsoft.com site by running the following command line:

    nslookup update.microsoft.com

It's a "normal" business that from time to time (during many years of usage), WSUS "breakes". There are several maintaning tasks and tricks you could do about it.

Also, it is not a bad idea to build new WSUS from scratch, because it is quite easy thing to do :)
