All GPU quota increase requests got rejected!

I have Azure for startups credit, and I am trying to deploy a model, yet all my GPU quota increase requests got rejected. Is this normal? Support does not offer any reason apart from "insufficient capacity".

I don't mind finding availability in any region. However, as of now, we have 0 GPU quota and it doesn't seem that Azure for startup founders program is any useful if we won't even get any GPUs to use.

I know this question was asked before, yet I didn't see any meaningful answer to explain why Azure support are rejected all GPU requests!

    Hi @M. Baddar ,

Thanks for contacting Microsoft Q&A platform.

Right now GPU SKUs are incredibly popular and there has been unprecedented demand with the explosion in AI based solutions. That may mean that it's more difficult to get specific GPU SKUs in some regions and existing customers may be prioritized over newly-created subscriptions in certain regions for specific SKUs where there is high demand.

If your quota requests are being rejected, then it means that the SKU you requested is not available for the subscription you made the request on in that region at the current time however I'm happy to do my best to make a recommendation if you are able to provide the Azure regions you are interested in. Broadly speaking within the US I would currently start by looking at the NDv2-series and the NCads H100 v5-series.

I hope this has been helpful! Your feedback is important so please take a moment to accept answers.
