Lync 2013 Firewall Diagram V2

Recently while on a Lync project I was asked by the Network Manager for a better explanation of the firewall rules that needed to be added.  I had sent the usual spreadsheet/table you get from the Planning Tool and in the Lync 2013 Detailed Design Calculator tool by Alessio Gio

Nice and simple yet very clear :)
  • Remote Lync client calendar ports

    • It would be useful to have the ActiveSync ports through to Exchange required for a remote Lync client to be able to use the "Meetings" section to avoid the "We can't connect to the server..." messages.
  • What about clients?

    • Thanks for the template! What about UDP/3478 and TCP/443 directly from the clients to the edge for media? Or is this server only?
  • Different file format

    • Hello Randy,
Would It be possible for you to upload the poster in the .pdf or .vsd format in addition to .vsdx?
  • Missing Port/Rule?

    • First off: awesome template! I'm definitely going to be putting it to good use. But I have one question/suggestion, and feel free to correct me.

Shouldn't there also be port 4443 opened from the Front-End servers, through the internal firewall, to the Edge servers for CMS replication data to be transferred across? Using the NextHop Protocol Poster v6.7 as a reference, seems this port is shown to be open for this purpose that I don't see on your template. Let me know if I'm incorrect or if it was left out intentionally.
