  • In Win7/Excel2010 I get "Provider does not support the property"

    • I copied the code into an Excel/VBA module and modified it for Excel -- I can't paste it here, because it's too long. When it gets to the "objCommand.Execute" statement I get "Run-time error '-2147217865 (80040e37)': Automation Error", and the code stops.

So I set a breakpoint at that statement and a watch on jboConnection, and I find that its Default Database property is already set to "<Provider does not support the property.>", and its connectino string has been set up as "Provider=ADsDSOObject;Encrypt Password=False;Data Source=Active Directory Provider;Mode=Read;Bind Flags=0;ADSI Flag=-2147483648;"
