Get SfB/Lync Assigned Numbers (Get-SfBAssignedNumbers)

This script queries Lync for all assigned numbers and displays in a formatted table with the option to export to CSV. During processing LineURI's are run against a regex pattern to extract the DDI/DID and the extension to a separate column.

  • How do I get all numbers associated to a user in Lync?
    2 Posts | Last post September 14, 2016
    • What I am finding is that we went to Lync 2010 to Lync 2013 and have about a year ago enabled the Skype for Business client using the Lync 2013 on premise infrastructure. With that being said we are in the process of adding new DIDs. When I look at a client that has been updated I still see their old phone number. Even though I can't find it in their AD record or in their Skype for Business client Phones configuration. I believe it is somewhere in the cache of the Lync user database. Are you familiar with what I am referring to?
One way I fixed mine was I deleted myself in Lync 2013 control panel and re-added myself. Drawback was that all my contacts/groups were gone.

    • Check out Lync Windows Client Cache and Address Book Cache here - https://ucgeek.co/troubleshooting/. Hope that helps.
  • Can I use this on a remote power shell session?

    • Hello Andrew,

Thanks for this wonderful tool! Can I use this over a remote power shell session?

      Thanks.
    • Yeah it should work. Check this script out - https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Get-All-Lync-Enabled-d81892bd - There is a function in the top of the script that should handle this automatically for you. Try moving that in to this script.
