Removing Old Versions of SharePoint Designer Workflows

SharePoint Designer workflows aren't compiled and distributed via the WSP Infrastructure. Instead they are simply edited, checked and published via the Designer Interface. This can lead to many previous workflows floating around. This script will help to remove them.

    • I have 10 different content types in my list and I have added reusable workflows to these content type. But it seems that your script doesn't handle workflows in different content type. Do you know how I should change the script to handle that?
    • That's a good question. I'll have a play around with it to see what I can come up with.
  • Getting an error on the script about the assembly

    • The error message is:

"Cannot find type [system.collection.generic.List`1[system.object]]: Make sure the assembly containing this type is loaded."

    • Can you guve me a bit more detail on the type of workflow that you've deployed?

I'll have a play with this on my test box and will see if I can generate the error message above.
    • Just a note (very late responding albeit). A new version of the script has been uploaded that means you'll no longer see this error message.
