    • I had to modify the input elements to have the same name attribute (but keeping the same ID so the script still works). Using IE8 on Vista:

      <input id="proxyenabled" name="proxysetting" style="width: 22px" title="IE Currently using Proxy Server"
               type="radio" />IE is using Proxy Server<br />
           <input id="proxydisabled" name="proxysetting" style="width: 22px" title="IE Currently using Proxy Server"
               type="radio" />IE is not using Proxy Server

      Can't recall the IE7 behaviour... but you've got them in a span, I seem to recall putting the elements in a <div>, but can't reproduce right now.
    • Also need to modify regkey as follows:
      regkey="HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ProxyEnable"
