      I am new to Tape. I searched to find is there any proper way to inventory the tapes that is attached to my Windows Machine. My goal is to get the basic information of tape (library,drive and media) that is attached to the windows machine .I tried the below powershell script.

      the problem is that i am using a Virtual Tape Library by cristalink's firestreamer.

      I read articles to inventory the tape using DPM(Data Protection Manager). But i am not sure how to execute it properly. Guide me to solve my issue.
  • Most of the data is coming up blank when I run the script against a windows 2003 Server

    • The script returns correct information for items like the availability, ID, and class name, but returns nothing for items like needs cleaning, compression, features high, and block size.
