  • How do you set the RunAs user using Powershell or c#?

    • I'm looking for a way to modify the RunAsUser property someway. Particularly I just need to change the password for any DCOM applications that are using a specific domain account.
    • Did you figure this out? I am need of the same info.
    • i can able to set the user and i want to know how to set the password...
    • Thank you.
Together with clues from https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance-winpc/how-to-link-a-clsid-and-appid-to-a-program/d1bf1587-db64-46d2-aa66-ba05d1ce4b41 I was able to extract the needed info from the RDS server giving DCom errors.
I modified the script to my liking.
The only problem I had was outputting the info to a text file, but I crossed that hurdle by physically copying the output from the shell to notepad, saving it as a text file and importing it into Excel. In Excel I ran a data filter and was able to search the DCom APPIDs in that manner.
