  • Can I move my current apps
    1 Posts | Last post August 17, 2015
    • I've successfully changed the default installation location to D:\WindwosApps.
Now the obvious question is, do I have to uninstall and re-install my current apps to get them into the new location?
Or can I just cut and paste?
  • Why is this so difficult to change app install location?
    1 Posts | Last post March 27, 2015
    • Why do I need to be a computer programmer to change the default app location from c drive. I just can't seem to get this changed in PowerShell. My tablet is only 16 gig but I have a 64 gig memory card installed. C drive is full. Why not just allow the user to decide which drive to install programs like previous versions of Windows. You know what is going to bite the dust to make room for apps I need, Microsoft Office 365 along with its annual renewal fee. Please fix this!!!

  • Registry write permission in PS

    • Is there an easy way to let PS have the write permission for registry modification. Seem the cmdlet will not write changes without these permissions granted.
  • What about Windows 8.1 ?
    1 Posts | Last post October 28, 2014
    • I have an Acer Iconia W4-820 with only 32Gb and runs Windows 8.1 update 1.
The command Set-OSCAPP... don't work. I have a few errors which says : TakeOwnerShip [...] not autorized, and set-ItemProperty...not autorized.
At the end, it's says that te operation is successful which is not.
I don't understand why it's not as easy as on Windows Phone 8.1...Will there be an update one day that will allowed this ?
