  • Filter options?

    • Hi - thanks for the cool script! However, I am not sure how to filter out reports to download? I only need reports with a creation/modified date that is after a specific date? how do I edit the script to add that filter? I need it as we have migrated many reports to SSRS2012 from SSRS2005. However, since that date, some customers have added new reports on the old SSRS2005 instance, and I only want to download those RDL's since that date! PLEASE HELP ! :) Thanks! Alessandro.
    • Hello Alessandro,
      You can add a filter to the entirely SQL Statement, either on "CreationDate" or "ModifiedDate", like:
      SELECT CT.[Path]
            ,CONVERT(varbinary(max), CT.[Content]) AS BinaryContent
      FROM dbo.[Catalog] AS CT
      WHERE CT.[Type] IN (2, 3, 5)
           AND CreationDate BETWEEN {d N'2014-01-01'} AND {d N'2014-12-31'}
      which filter on all reports created in year 2014.
  • The catalog table does not have any changes to the database

    • Hi Olaf,
      I know this script is pretty old and wondered if you had an updated one.
      I am working with MS on trying to figure out how to capture the correct information on the datasource.
      they told me when a datasource is created its inserted into the catalog table. Any changes to the datasource is in the datasource table. However its encrypted by design. I was wondering if you had any ideas. I need this for auditing reporting server. Thanks again

    • Hi!
      Thanks for nice script.
      I'm looking for a solution to export shared datasources (as rsd files) also.
