  • Set-AzureRMVirtualNetworkSubnetConfig command didn't set the NSG
    1 Posts | Last post March 05, 2018
    • Set-AzureRMVirtualNetworkSubnetConfig -VirtualNetwork $vnet -Name SP2016Subnet -AddressPrefix "10.0.0.0/24" -NetworkSecurityGroup $nsg

The above command didn't update the subnet with NetworkSecurityGroup, i had to add(pipe) Set-AzureRmVirtualNetwork at the end to set it, not sure if i was using old Azure PowerShell cmdlets

      Set-AzureRMVirtualNetworkSubnetConfig -VirtualNetwork $vnet -Name SP2016Subnet -AddressPrefix "10.0.0.0/24" -NetworkSecurityGroup $nsg | Set-AzureRmVirtualNetwork
  • Missing parameter for Add-AzureRMVMDataDisk
    2 Posts | Last post September 15, 2017
    • I'm stumped when I got to the "Add-AzureRMVMDataDisk -VM $vm -Name ADDS-Data -DiskSizeInGB 20 -Lun 0 -VhdUri $vhdURI -CreateOption empty". It requires the LUN parameter.

    • Hi DevSwim, Sorry for my delayed response. All of the configuration has been updated to use the latest Azure PowerShell cmdlets and managed disks. You should not see this problem with the new commands. Joe
