  • Missing module
    2 Posts | Last post August 27, 2013
    • When I run this on my Windows 7 laptop AND my Server 2008R2, I get this error:

import-module : The specified module 'ActiveDirectory' was not loaded because no valid module file was found in any module directory.

      Where is this module?
    • Hi Clifton

I was reviewing the answers from the community and the error is that you must have the role Active Directory installed on the server or if you're going to run from a Windows 7 or Windows 8 you must install the RSAT (Remote Server Administration Tools)
