  • Does this work with 2012 SOFS clusters?

    • Hi Jose, our SOFS cluster is 2012, not 2012 R2. Will this work? The check includes tests on CSVs - would this be the equivalent of running a cluster check - concerned it may affect things whilst VMs are running. Thanks.

    • Hi,

i have not installed the Scale-Out File Servers role on my cluster. Is it possible to use the script to?
    • The script was designed to use with a Scale-Out File Server backed by Storage Spaces. I am considering the option to write a different script for the compute cluster as well. What kind of cluster are you using?
    • I second that, we have a "normal" 2 node hyper-v cluster backed by storage spaces, so not really any need for SOFS.

And hence the script doesnt work for us.
  • write to event

    • Hi José,

huge fan of your script, it helps us a lot.
A great addition for us would be to write the output into a event in event viewer.
That way we could create a custom management pack picking up that info and create an alert if required.
