List Registry Key Access Rights

  • then how to access registry on windows server 2008

    • i have create a vb.net application using .net framework 4.0 beta 2 on windows xp 64 bit plateform and installed at client who uses windows server 2008. but as my app. uses create registry subkey so windows server2008 gives message at app running - 
      "requested registry access not allowed"
      
      Detail error message-
      "System.Security.SecurityException: Requested registry access is not allowed.
         at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowSecurityException(ExceptionResource resource)
         at Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey.OpenSubKey(String name, Boolean writable)
         at winApp.Loginform.Loginform_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e)
         at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e)
      .."
      
      
      i am login as user with admin priviledge (and only this one user is exist)
      on same machine i also try to install a web application which is develop on same above plateform (winxp x64 with .net 4 beta 2) and give below error at installation
      
      web application error message-
      
      "you do not have suffiet previledge to complete the installation for all user of the machine. log on as administrator and then retry the installation."
      
      my question is how to over come this problem
      can any one help me
